Greater Alliance Federal Credit Union, a New Jersey institution with $239M in assets and over 23,000 members, needed a forward-thinking approach to attract new members remotely while continuing to serve the Bergen and Passaic County communities. They were searching for a progressive digital banking experience that would integrate seamlessly with Corelation's KeyStone core banking system. With the goal of increasing membership and engagement while decreasing fraud and back-office frustrations, Greater Alliance chose Narmi to deliver a sleek end-to-end digital banking experience on an adaptable platform.
Modern members expect instant access and frictionless security. Adding a new card to Apple Wallet or Google Wallet traditionally meant manually typing in card numbers, an extra step that introduced friction at exactly the moment a member wanted to start spending.
Greater Alliance set out to remove that step entirely. The goal was to let members push their new or replacement cards straight to Apple Wallet or Google Wallet from within mobile banking, with no manual entry required.
Implementing push provisioning across two major technology ecosystems is a significant technical undertaking. It requires navigating compliance requirements, security standards, and a range of integration details unique to each platform.
Narmi and the Greater Alliance team worked together through the full implementation, solving complex problems along the way and staying aligned through each phase. The collaboration between both teams was central to bringing the project to completion.
Greater Alliance members now have a seamless, top-of-wallet digital experience. They can activate a card and begin spending securely within seconds of opening an account, with no waiting for a physical card to arrive in the mail.
The launch reflects what is possible when a forward-thinking financial institution and a committed technology partner build together. Narmi and Greater Alliance look forward to continuing that work.
