Digital was always secondary to branches. Today, financial institutions win and lose based on user experience. Narmi is responsible for delivering this best-in-class user experience on behalf of our customers. This can often be difficult when financial institutions are accustomed to certain processes or mindset. We must stay true to our long-term vision that the most intuitive, beautiful and user-centric digital banking platform will win.
Over the past few decades, financial institutions have continued to grow at a steady rate benefiting from low competition and increased economic growth. More recently, a wave of new competition has significantly increased the competition for deposits, accounts, loyalty and profit. It is critical for Narmi to be a trusted partner to financial institutions by educating them on ways to grow faster and more efficiently. Concurrently, we have to remain a step ahead of the industry so we can help financial institutions proactively scale and succeed.
Most financial institutions leverage legacy core banking systems as their central point of integration. There are often additional third-parties Narmi may have to integrate with, or provide our API to, in order for our customers to be successful. Since Narmi is a product company, our architecture, implementation strategy and ongoing customer success all need to work seamlessly to deliver a best-in-class digital experience, while accounting for the legacy technology that predates us. This is a challenging obstacle to overcome yet gives us an impressive competitive advantage over our competitors.
No financial institution is the same. Each has a different set of customers, business focus and differentiated market proposition. Yet all of them can benefit from Narmi's Platform. We must allow our customers to extend, adapt and build on top of the Narmi Platform in ways they desire, and ways they may not have ever imagined. As we accomplish this, scaling Narmi will become far more rewarding for every stakeholder involved.
