It’s no secret that digital transformation is key to helping financial institutions stay competitive. Maintaining relevance in a landscape of constantly evolving technology, and doing it right, can be a whole other conceptual challenge.

As one of the key presenters and panelists at KBW’s 2022 Winter Financial Services Symposium, Narmi Co-Founder Nikhil Lakhanpal will discuss digital transformation and all that it entails with Berkshire Bank CEO Nitin Mhatre. Their panel will be moderated by Keefe, Bruyette & Woods’s Managing Director, Mike Perito.

We hope you can join this exciting symposium held at the Boca Raton Resort in Boca Raton, Florida from February 16 through 18!

Why attend?

Digital transformation is a foundational change that needs to be executed from the ground up – from knowing how to structure internal teams to exploring how forward-thinking partners can integrate with an institution’s core and invigorate their processes. Narmi is excited to be joining other leaders from digital banking and financial services for three days of networking and insightful discussions presented by KBW.

Berkshire and Narmi: A digital transformation journey

Berkshire and Narmi both know how to tell a digital transformation story because together, they lived one. Berkshire partnered with Narmi to develop a seamless 2-minute and 13-second account opening experience for some 200,000 Berkshire customers across seven states, 106 branch locations, and 2 brands. To achieve this, they focused on user-centric design, identity decisioning, and staff efficiency which led to growth in both deposits and customers in a completely digital-first way.

Prior to this conference, Narmi also sat down with Berkshire’s EVP and head of retail banking, Lucia Bellomia, and CIO, Jason White, to discuss the development of their BEST plan to enact transformation.

The collaboration between Narmi and Berkshire shows that while it can be challenging and will require careful thinking and rethinking, the development of a digital plan is a boon for both internal stakeholders and customers.
