Joseph Berry serves as Co-Head of KBW's Investment Banking Department, as well as Head of Depositories Investment Banking and Co-Head of Fintech Investment Banking. He began his career with KBW in the mid-1990s, has served as Head of Depositories since 2010 and was appointed Co-Head of Investment Banking and Fintech in 2021. KBW’s Depositories Investment Banking Group is one of the largest on Wall Street and routinely ranks at the top of the advisory and capital-raising league tables.
Joe has over 25 years of industry and transactional experience including several years as a member of KBW’s Bank Research Team. In addition to his supervisory responsibilities, he maintains a robust calling effort across the U.S financial services industry with particular emphasis on banking organizations, payments companies and innovative financial technology organizations.

Matthew (Matt) Kelley joined KBW in 2021 as the Director of Research, where he is responsible for oversight of the firm's award-winning equity research department.
Prior to joining KBW, Matt was a Principal and Director of Research, at Sirios Capital Management, where he led firm initiatives including strategic development and thought leadership, and managed the firm's summer associate and associate analyst programs. He previously served as Vice President, Corporate Strategy at Affiliated Managers Group, Inc. (AMG), where he was responsible for the creation and development of the firm's thought leadership presence and various corporate initiatives while reporting to the Chairman and CEO. Earlier in his career, Matt was a senior equity research analyst covering brokers, asset managers, and exchanges at Morgan Stanley, and has experience covering most financial services sub-sectors during his time in equity research at both Morgan Stanley and Citigroup.
Matt received an MBA from the University of North Carolina Kenan-Flagler Business School in 2006 and a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration from the University of Richmond in 2001.
Mr. Fortner joined First Internet Bank in 2016 as Vice President of Information Technology. He was promoted to First Vice President, Information Technology in 2018 before being named Senior Vice President, Chief Information Officer in 2021. In his current role, Mr. Fortner is focused on implementing technology solutions to improve efficiency and drive growth.
He previously held leadership positions with Bank of America and Merrill Lynch. He received his bachelor’s degree from Purdue University.
